Whilst there is still much to do, in the past two years HEaTED has led to:
- A professional working relationship with IST (Institute of Science & Technology) as a base for national qualifications and development activities
- An annual 'showcase' UK conference for technical specialists, staff developers and HR professionals attended by over 300 people
- A technical specialists mailbase for_ networking HEaTED
- A skills database highlighting information on providers of technical training and development
- Regional collaborative events in partnership_ with LFHE
- A membership of over 50 Universities so far
