This course aims to explain how a system in the Collge of Life Sciences at Dundee University, which supplies approximately 700 research scientists with sterile media and agar plates is run. It aims to explain advantages of the system, how the system developed and how it is proposed to develop the system in the future. The system is self funding and invoices research groups monthly with a annual spend of approximately £90,000. The course will involve a presentation, tour, and after lunch a question/answer/advice session. |
