This workshop combines a 3 hour classroom session with 1 hour practical instruction on manual handling & regulator fitting.
Prior to training what, where & how gases are used will be determined and the programme will be structured to place emphasis on elements most appropriate to your gas usage.
Classroom Session:
* Gas properties & hazards
* Incident case study
* Cylinders
* Gas equipment - regulators; hoses; flashback arrestors; pipe work
* Emergency procedures
* PPE
* Legislation & Codes of Practice
Practical Session 1 hour:
* Regulator fitting
* Before use checks
* Connection
* Leak checking
* Removal & exchange of cylinders
An additional 1.5 hour classroom module on cryogenic gas usage is also available in conjunction with this course |
