A new era for HEaTED
Now is an exciting time for HEaTED with many positive changes to report. Responsibility for managing the programme has recently moved to Myscience supported by The Gatsby Charitable Foundation. Our previous funders, HEFCE, will continue to support us on operational issues.
HEaTED is delighted to introduce a new Programme Manager: Dr Rachel Crossley, who has overall responsibility for delivery and development of the programme. Contact information can be found here.

HEaTED’s new vision is: to be the organisation for Professional Development of the Technical Workforce in the UK.
We will achieve this through:
- Contributing to UK PLC through continuous improvement and development of this key workforce
- Supporting individuals in their professional and personal development
- Improving the quality of technicians (primarily in HEIs) across all disciplines, therefore contributing to improvement of the student experience
- Ensuring a long term supply of a high quality technical workforce striving for improvement

If your institution is a member of HEaTED then you are already part of a growing community working to support and promote the skills and roles of Technial staff.
